	Safety Audits to check compliance with important health and safety legislation related to machinery. All machinery used in places of work must comply with the Provision and Use of Work Equipment Regulations 1998 (PUWER 98) and if appropriate, the Lifting Operations and Lifting Equipment Regulations 1998 (LOLER). In addition, the European Machinery Directive was implemented into UK law as The Supply of Machinery (Safety) Regulations 2008 and imposes strict duties on the suppliers of new machinery. These requirements remain in force during the Brexit transition period.
